Arnold J. Weil,
M.D., a diplomat of the American Board of Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation, is the Chief Executive Officer
of Non-Surgical Orthopaedic & Spine Center, P.C.,
one of the premier orthopaedic practices in the metro Atlanta
area.
He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation
Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta,
Georgia.
Dr. Weil received his bachelor’s degree in biology from
Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas where he
graduated cum laude, and his medical degree from The University
of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed
an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington Hospital
Center in Washington, D.C., and a residency in Physical Medicine
and Rehabilitation at the National Rehabilitation Hospital,
also in Washington, D.C. In 1997, Dr. Weil earned an Executive
MBA in business from Kennesaw State University in Georgia.
An active lecturer, Dr. Weil has been invited to speak nationally
and internationally on the nonsurgical management of back and
neck pain as well as new advances in pain management. He is
active in clinical research, has been involved in numerous
Phase II, III, and IV clinical trials, and is routinely involved
in utilization and case review for many insurance companies
nationwide. Dr. Weil is the medical director of Clinical research
at Non-Surgical Orthopaedic & Spine Center. He has also
developed an international musculoskeletal and spine fellowship
program with a focus on diagnostic evaluation, injection procedures,
and nonsurgical orthopaedic care.
A fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation,
Dr. Weil has been a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic
Medicine, American Academy of Pain Management, American College
of Physicians and Surgeons, Association of American Physicians
and Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine,
American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American
Back Society, North American Spine Society, American Academy
of Disability Evaluation Physicians, and the International
Spinal Injection Society.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Weil enjoys a diverse
variety of interests. He is an avid photographer and he travels
regularly, focusing on foreign destinations such as Turkey,
Russia, Eastern Europe, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.
He also enjoys sports, and has played basketball with Michael
Jordan in Las Vegas for four years. Dr. Weil lives in Atlanta,
Georgia.
